WOMENS BASEBALL LEAGUE

In Summer 2008, Penrith Baseball Club extended their Representative Squads to include teams into the Women's equivalent of the
NSW Major League Men's Competition.

As part of Baseball Nsw plans of closely aligning the Men's & women's representative competitions Penrith baseball club were asked to enter into the
[NSW women's baseball League].

This competition is based on the Major league competition, players playing in this competition can forward their career's by trialing for the
NSW representative squad and also being chosen for the
[Australian women's Squad].

As with Major league the Womens competition also runs from September to March. Trials are also generally held throughout July.
